The plan

Heading out from Tbilisi
We meet at 10:00 near Avlabari metro and head out toward Gori.
The drive takes about an hour.
At the ranch
Grab some coffee, meet the horses, and check out the place :)
Helmets and safety vests on: we'll start with a briefing in the arena. You'll learn how to lead the horse, mount and dismount, how to sit in the saddle, and what to do with your legs.
Into the fields
Right after the arena, we head out for a 2-hour ride through the countryside. We'll ride in a line at a relaxed walking pace. You won't be in the saddle the whole two hours—we'll take a short break halfway through.
Picnic
Time for some food after the ride. We'll set up a table by the haystacks for a picnic: chicken shashlik, cheese, veggies, and fresh shoti bread.
Heading back to Tbilisi
Around 6:00–7:00 PM, we'll hop in the car and head back to Tbilisi. We'll drop you off right where we started: at Avlabari metro station.

What to bring

What to wear

  • Comfortable stretchy pants
  • Closed-toe shoes—Chelsea boots or regular sneakers will do
  • Short jacket or hoodie that doesn't restrict movement
  • Gloves

*Better to bring clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. They might get messy
