This Privacy Policy (hereinafter — "Policy") applies to all information that the Individual Entrepreneur P/E Maksim Eremeev (TIN/Registration number: 306387157, Georgia, hereinafter — "Contractor" or "We") may obtain
about the User/Client (hereinafter — "User") while they are using the website https://hikingmax.com/en (hereinafter — the "Site"), when filling out registration forms, and during subsequent booking and payment for hiking adventures.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. Using the Site, filling out contact forms, booking tours, or providing your data to the Provider in any other way means you fully agree
to this Policy and the terms of processing your personal data described here.
1.2. If you don't agree with the terms of this Policy, please refrain from using the Site and our services.
1.3. This Policy is developed in accordance with Georgian law (the Law "On Personal Data Protection"),
as well as taking into account international data processing standards (including the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR for European Union residents).

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
The Contractor may collect and process the following personal data of the User:
  • Personal details: First name, last name, citizenship, date of birth.
  • Contact details: Mobile phone number (including linked Telegram/WhatsApp accounts), email address.
  • Tour-specific data: Details about your physical fitness, hiking experience, chronic illnesses, allergies, or injuries (strictly to keep you safe on the mountain and stock the group first-aid kit), plus clothing and shoe sizes for gear rentals.
  • Photos and videos: Images of the User (photos
  • and video recordings) taken during Events by our guides or staff photographers.
  • Technical data: IP address, cookies, browser type, operating system, referral source, and how you use the Site.

3. WHY WE COLLECT AND PROCESS PERSONAL DATA
We process User personal data strictly for the following purposes:
3.1. Fulfilling the Public Offer: Signing you up for hikes and treks, booking spots in shelters and hotels, getting official national park permits, and organizing transfers.
3.2. Communication and coordination:Creating group chats in messengers (Telegram/WhatsApp) to keep everyone posted on timing, weather, gear, and any program changes.
3.3. Safety on the trail: Making sure HikingMax guides are aware of your physical needs and health status to keep you safe.
3.4. Marketing and SMM: Using photos and videos from our trips for the website and social media (Instagram, Telegram, etc.) to show off the hiking vibes and share reviews.
3.5. Ad Analytics: Optimizing ad campaigns
on search engines and social media, plus making the website interface
and performance even better.

4. PAYMENT AND DATA SECURITY
4.1. You can pay for our services in a few ways:
  • Online payment via the Flitt international payment service (or similar certified widgets on the site);
  • Direct bank transfer to the IE bank account details provided by us (P/E Maksim Eremeev);
  • Paying part of the amount in cash directly on the day the Adventure starts. 4.2. HikingMax 
  • does not collect, process, or store Clients' payment data (bank card numbers, expiration dates, CVC/CVV codes). When paying via the Flitt service (or similar), all payment information is encrypted and processed on secure servers of the corresponding certified processing center. In the case of a direct transfer, data is processed by the Client's bank and HikingMax's bank.

5. SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES
5.1. Group chats: By joining the Event's group chat on messaging apps, you agree that your phone number, profile name, and handle will be visible to other members of the group.
5.2. Using third-party IT platforms: To collect participant forms (health info, gear lists, etc.), we use cloud automation platforms like Google Forms, Tally, and Notion. Data transfer to these platforms is protected by their own international security protocols.
5.3. Logistics partners: We have the right to share the minimum necessary data (like your name, surname, and citizenship) with third parties: drivers/transport companies, national park administrations (to register the group)
and gear rental partners.
5.4. We promise not to sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes that aren't directly related to HikingMax activities.

6. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
6.1. The Site uses third-party web analytics tools
and targeted advertising, including Yandex MetricaGoogle Analytics and Meta Pixel (for Instagram/Facebook ads).
6.2. These systems collect anonymous technical info (cookies) about your visit to the Site. We use this data to analyze user experience and track how well our targeted guide ads are performing
and to set up relevant ads for you.
6.3. You can disable cookies or set up selective acceptance in your browser settings at any time.

7. YOUR RIGHTS
Every User has the right to:
7.1. Ask us to confirm if we are processing your data and get a list of what we have.
7.2. Request that we fix, update, or add to your personal data.
7.3. Withdraw your consent for data processing (including requesting the removal of your photos from HikingMax social media) by sending a written request to our email.
  • Note: Withdrawing consent for contact data processing before the trip starts will cancel your participation, as we won't be able to coordinate with you. This is covered by the cancellation rules in our Offer Agreement.

8. PROTECTION, STORAGE, AND POLICY UPDATES
8.1. We take all necessary legal, organizational, and technical steps to keep your personal data safe from unauthorized access, changes, or destruction.
8.2. We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time. The new version takes effect as soon as it's posted on the Site.
