Day 1
Tbilisi → Gudauri → Overnight at the saddle
Distance / ascent / descent: ~7 km / ↑1139 m / ↓810 m
Time on trail: ~8-10 hours
Trail description: we drive up to the top station in Gudauri, where the trail kicks off. Part of the way follows the road toward Sadzele peak, then we hit the talus slopes. We'll pass by Constitution of Georgia mountain and reach the Main Caucasian Range. From there, we hike along the ridge with views of the Khada Valley and snowy peaks. In the evening, we'll set up camp at the saddle.

Yes, we carry all our own gear, so we stick to the essentials.
Meals are included (dinner on day 1 and breakfast on day 2). Everyone pitches in with the cooking (guides and hikers alike), and we'll set up a rotation for kitchen duty. For vegetarians, we set aside portions before adding any meat, but please note we don't use separate cooking pots. You'll need to bring your own snacks and any other meals for the rest of the trip.

Minimum age is 18. Minors can join if we clear it first. The upper age limit depends entirely on your health and fitness level.
If you have chronic respiratory, nervous, or cardiovascular issues, you'll need to consult a doctor (a sports doc is best). It's super important to let us know about any conditions or medications beforehand.
We strongly recommend getting medical and/or sports insurance.

To keep things comfortable on the trail, we recommend packing the following gear:

- Light windbreaker / jacket — it can get chilly in the mountains even in summer
- Thermal base layers and warm socks — for the overnight stay
- Change of clothes for day two — t-shirt, underwear, socks

- Sleeping pad, sit pad, and a sleeping bag with a comfort rating of at least +5°C
- Trekking poles
- Flashlight (a headlamp is best)
- Power Bank and phone cable
- 2 liters of water (there are springs along the route where you can refill)
