What you'll see on the trail

360° Panoramas
This trail lives up to its name. Standing on the ridge, you'll see the snow-capped peaks of the Greater Caucasus on one side and the endless waves of the Lesser Caucasus on the other.

Peak Alpine Bloom
June is the only month when the Borjomi Gorge explodes with millions of colors and scents of mountain flowers. It's the perfect time for your best shots.

Mountain Shelter Vibes
Expect pure outdoor romance — dinner under an endless starry sky and a warm night in a wooden shelter right in the middle of the wild.

Itinerary

Day 1
Tbilisi → Atskuri → Amarati shelter

Distance / gain / loss: ~14 km / ↑1200 m

Morning meetup and start
We meet in Tbilisi and head out in a comfortable transfer
to the Borjomi Gorge to our starting point.

Deep into the green
We begin our climb. The trail winds gently through ancient coniferous forest. All around us — fresh air, silence, and birdsong. We'll take breaks here
to rest and grab a light snack.

Hitting the Panorama
Towards lunch, the forest opens up, and we step onto the open ridge. This is the moment those legendary 360-degree panoramic views reveal themselves. We hike along blooming meadows, stopping constantly for photos.

Arrival at the shelter and dinner
By evening, we reach the wooden mountain hut perched at a scenic spot on the ridge. Drop the gear. The guides cook up a hearty hot dinner (all included!). We'll catch a fantastic mountain sunset, hang out, and settle in for a cozy night in the cabin.
Day 2
Amarati shelter → panoramas → Atskuri → Tbilisi

Distance / gain / loss: ~21 km / ↑872 m / ↓1906 m

Mountain sunrise
For the early birds — a cup of hot coffee with a view of the waking mountains
and fog rolling through the valleys below us.

Hearty breakfast
Fuel up for the road, pack our gear, and hit the trail.

Ridge continuation and descent
Today we get another dose of panoramic trails before starting a smooth, comfortable descent from the ridge. The scenery will change in reverse: from subalpine meadows back to cool, shady forests.

Finish line and transfer home
We reach the end of the route, share our first impressions, hop into our transfer, and head back to Tbilisi by Sunday evening, feeling recharged and happy.
