Itinerary

Day 1:
ridge trail
Tbilisi → Arkhoti Ridge → Tanie Valley → shelter
Distance / gain / loss: ~12 km / ↑900 m / ↓770 m
We head to Khevsureti and start our trek at high altitude (near the Arkhoti ridge, above Roshka). We'll hike toward the Tanie valley and reach a scenic shelter on the edge of the ridge by evening.
Day 2:
The way to the lake
Shelter → Lake Tanie → Arkhoti Ridge → Tbilisi
Distance / gain / loss: ~23 km / ↑1770 m / ↓1900 m
We'll hike to Lake Tanie, then climb back up to the ridge and descend to our starting point.
