Itinerary

Day 1:
Heading to the foot of Chaukhi
Tbilisi → Roshka → Green Lake → Blue Lake (side trip)
Distance / gain: ~7 km / ↑650 m
We head to Khevsureti toward Roshka village and start gaining elevation as we move toward the Chaukhi massif. We'll set up camp right on the shore of Green Lake — it's a key spot to get used to the altitude. After a quick break, we'll take a light walk to the nearby Blue Lake and spend the evening by the fire with views of the jagged peaks.
Day 2:
The way to the lake
Green Lake → White Lake → Chaukhi Pass (3338 m) → Juta → Tbilisi
Distance / elevation gain / loss: ~12 km / ↑850 m / ↓1200 m
We wake up early, grab breakfast, and head to the highest lake — White Lake. It's empty in the morning, so peace and perfect shots are guaranteed. From the lake, we start the main push up to Chaukhi Pass. The ridge offers a panoramic view of both sides. We'll wrap up the day with a long, steady descent into Juta valley before heading back to the city.
