Departure from Tbilisi (metro station 300 Aragviytsev) to the village of Kvemo Okrokana. Transfer along the Georgian Military Road with a planned stop
Hiking from Kvemo Okrokana to the beginning of the valley (4.5 km). Walk through the Tergi River Gorge at a relaxed pace for photos
Exit to the valley and mineral lake Abano. Relaxing by the lake, visiting travertines, general photos
Trekking along the valley from the lake through abandoned villages to the foot of the Zakagori fortress. Walk past monasteries at a comfortable pace
Picnic at the ruins of the fortress. A thorough break with a view of the gorge after a long journey
Return journey from the fortress to Kvemo Okrokana (about 10-11 km). Long trek with a slow pace towards the end of the day
Return road to Tbilisi. Departure from the gorge, taking into account darkness and evening congestion at the entrance to the city
After the hike, take a break and enjoy lunch with a mountain view. Every guest gets two onigiri with different fillings, plus hot tea and coffee
