Legendary mountain views, a crystal-clear lake, and a waterfall at the foot of Chaukhi. The perfect route for anyone dreaming of feeling the power of the Caucasus!
The route kicks off on a wide mountain road leading to the village of Juta (at 2200m).
The toughest part comes right at the start—a steep climb. After that, it's a pleasant walk through the valley with a very gentle incline. We'll follow the valley along the river with views of Mount Chaukhi.
We'll stop by the 5-th Season camp-restaurant. It's a great spot to grab a coffee, use the restroom, and chill in the hammocks.
After a quick breather, we'll head toward a small waterfall. You can scramble up a narrow path to reach the very top.
From the waterfall, we'll trek toward a glacial lake, crossing a couple of small streams along the way.
We'll take a break by the lake for some tea.
Then we'll head back to the village along the other side of the river.
