What you will see

A circular route to glacial lakes at the foot of the Chaukhi massif. You will see three lakes of different colors - white, blue and green - and all day you will be surrounded by a huge rock mass with sharp peaks.

Three glacial lakesThe milky White Lake right next to the glacier, the transparent Blue Lake and the Green Lake, hidden in the grass and rhododendrons. All three lakes are really different colors
Circular route through the valleyYou don't go back and forth the same way. You will walk along the top of the right side of the valley to the glacier, and return through the lakes along the lower path past the streams. Panoramas are not repeated

Day itinerary

1. 07:30 – 11:00
  Departure from Tbilisi. Road towards Khevsureti through the Datavisjvari pass
2. 11:00 – 11:30
  Approach to the fork. We disembark behind Roshka at the starting point of the trail
3. 11:30 – 14:00
  Ascent to White Lake. We go up the right side of the valley to the highest lake
4. 14:00 – 15:30
  Blue Lake and Lunch. We go down to the water, relax and have a picnic
5. 15:30 – 16:30
  Green Lake. Short trek to the third lake and rest on the grass
6. 16:30 – 18:00
  Descent to the car. We follow the lower path back to the starting point
7. 18:00 – 22:00
  Road to Tbilisi. We return to the metro station 300 Aragviytsev
